![]() Removing d3dx9.dll (gets game to start, but practically unplayable). Installing DirectX from the 20 redistributables. Downgrading first, then installing ICEnhancer. Previous troubleshooting: Installing to a fresh backup of 1.0.8, then downgrading. If you want the best visuals I strongly recommend. This mod was developed for GTA IV patch 1.0.4.0 and later 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0/EFLC support were added. I spent about 300-400 hours to create and update this mod. My inspiration was the never released iCEnhancer C by icelaglace. I'm running Windows 10 with an r9 270 and Pentium G3258 set to 4.2 Ghz. This mod aims to make GTA IV more natural, less dark and more vibrant. Improved top sky colors at 6am for cloudy, rainy and lightning. In comparison, the heroes of GTAV feel and look like blanks. I somehow got bad apple to work in GTA IV. Improved and less greenish/yellowish sky color at 10pm, midnight and 5am for all weathers. The thing is with ENB’s like CryEnb, IcEnhancer and even Beautification Project ENB is that theyre made to look really good in specific scenarios, which means youre likely to find some really inconsistent lighting in certain areas. I have no other mods installed and have only added xliveless and renamed paul.dll to . ENB Series / Graphics ICEnhancer 3.0 LITE Hi This is an edit of Ice 3.0 called ICEnhancer 3.0 LITE The original mod creator is icelaglace, major thanks to them for making the original amazing mod The edit is meant to make ice 3.0 less intense and change some colors. How should I install ICEnhancer on 1.0.7? I'm using the steam version and downgraded to 1.0.7 (the. (V1. This causes the game to be pitch black at night and look awful at sunset/during the day, as shown here: The only way to start the game is to remove d3d9.dll. ENB Series / Graphics iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural (Final Version) Rating: 9.94 based on 190 votes iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural by DayL: Thanks for over 400. ![]() If I do it directly I get the same error as discussed here. The problem is, if I try running the game with that through the launcher, nothing happens. I'm currently working on my own modification of DayL's Ice 3.0 timecyc for use with this workaround.I have read many posts online already that ICEnhancer is too dark or pitch black at night, and the cause is that d3d9.dll has been removed inappropriately. If you want more powerful reflections on the cars you'll need to edit the timecyc.dat file. so this is more of a workaround than a fix, but the game still looks fantastic and vehicles still have reflections! I mainly use Icenhancer to improve the overall look of the game, not for vehicles as they already look quite good so this works for me. Here is an image with a before and after and a list of all shaders you need to replace with the ones from shader fixes.ĭo note that this basically disables the ENB effects on vehicles, (Or so I was told I still see stuff applied to them when I toggle the ENB on/off) sadly there is no other fix than replacing every vehicle with this issue with a non-lore-friendly super HD model which just doesn't fit my setup atm. ![]() ![]() To fix it you need to download "Shader Fixes" from "Parallellines" found here and then only copy any files that refer to decals or vehicle paint. ![]() I found a fix workaround to this! It's caused by the shaders from Icenhancer mismatching the vanilla files that dont get touched by the mod in 1.0.7.0. ![]()
