When we arrived the resort looked nice, but a bit smaller than what we were expecting. My wife and I stayed at another Pueblo Bonito resort in Cabo that was out of this world and I guess we may have had similar expectations going into this stay. I have to say our stay at Samba was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was probably the best, but waffles and french toast were stale, eggs were running and odd tasting, etc. We elected to go the All Inclusive route and the food was really disappointing. Overall I would say the rooms were average, but adequate and won't distracting you from still having fun there. I thought the rooms and inside of the resort really needed some updating and remodeling. Checking back again at 2pm, we were told 3:30pm and after finally complaining enough they "miraculously" found us another room. When we checked back, they changed the time on us again to 2pm. We arrived early and were told we would have a room at 12pm. Parts of the staff were helpful, but our check in experience wasn't the best. Nothing Pueblo Bonito could control, but I thought it is worth mentioning. There was some construction going on next door for a new resort or some sort of building that really detracted a bit from the property.
